Who are Positively You?

Positively You are a team of memory experts, former teachers and entertainers who deliver high-impact workshops to young learners all over the country. You can meet the whole team here.

How long is a Positively You day?

A standard Positively You day is 4 hours long, consisting of multiple workshops:

• 2 x 2-hour workshops
• 3 x 80-minute workshops
• 4 x 1-hour workshops

How many students can you support throughout the day?

As standard, we can support up to 300 students throughout a 4-hour day, but if you have larger cohorts and want to support more students, get in touch with us.

Are the timings of the workshops flexible?

Of course. We are able to design the day around your needs and timetables.

How much do our workshops cost?

Our prices vary depending on the programme of support we arrange with the school. Once we have assessed the needs of the particular school and its students, we can then provide specific costing estimates. Feel free to contact us to find out more about how the process works.

Where will the workshop take place?

Our workshops generally take place in your school’s sports hall, but any space that can comfortably accommodate the cohort is suitable (we recommend sitting students in groups of 4-6 to maximise engagement).

How involved should the staff be?

Teachers won’t be required to present any content, but we do recommend a 30:1 student/teacher ratio for behavioural management. That being said, the more teachers who are able to attend the workshops, the better – sharing best practices is never a bad thing!

Will the students receive any resources?

Each student will receive a full colour 6-8 page ‘You Pad’ which they are able to take away with them and refer back to. In addition, each student who attends our Exam Busters, Super Speed Study Skills or Mind Mapping workshops will be given a free pen, courtesy of our stationery partner, BIC.

How do you measure the success of a Positively You day?

We’re incredibly proud of the work we do, and we think our feedback speaks for itself. Taking it one step further, we are able to provide you with Impact Reports, which combine the results of pre and post-workshop questionnaires, providing quantifiable data that proves our workshops have had a positive impact on your students.

Do you provide any support for teachers or parents?

Absolutely! Our Teacher Training solutions and Parent Twilight sessions are fantastic ways to turn a Positively You workshop into a much more holistic learning experience.

Do you provide any online support?

All of our workshops are able to be delivered online via Zoom, MS Teams or Google Meet. Additionally, our Online Resources Hub is a great way to extend the value of either an Exam Busters or Super Speed Study Skills workshop.
