Supporting students with SEND

Our range of Attainment Raising, Personal Development, and Careers workshops are high-impact, engaging experiences that are designed to help your students reach their full potential.

Targeted Support – Whether you are a Special Education Needs setting, an Alternative Provision provider, or a mainstream school, we can provide targeted support to students with additional needs. This includes (but is not limited to) students with SEMH difficulties, students with sensory or physical needs, or students with conditions that affect their learning and cognitive functions.

Collaborative Approach – We will work collaboratively with your teaching staff or SENDCO to ensure that our workshops remain accessible. Our presenters are highly experienced in delivering interventions to neurodivergent students and tailor their approach accordingly.

Explicit Instruction – Our workshops are designed to be fully inclusive by default, but where required, our presenters can reduce the speed of their delivery and provide clear, easy to follow instructions. We do this by using succinct language and frequently checking students’ understanding of the material.

Other things to keep in mind:

• Our content is delivered in small chunks, allowing ample opportunity for breaks and group discussions
• Our workshops are designed to increase student autonomy and promote the idea of self-scaffolding
• Where applicable, we can support Pupil Voice by collating feedback and generating an Impact Report
• Parent and Carer Twilight sessions support a holistic approach and can be delivered in-person or online
• The ideas and techniques we introduce students to are designed to remove barriers to learning
• We foster a safe environment and place heavy emphasis on developing a positive, growth mindset
