Learning how to identify and set goals is a vitally important skill. By clearly defining their ambitions, students can take immediate ownership of, and responsibility for, their future.
In this Goal Setting workshop, students are taught how to organise their thoughts and remove ‘glass ceilings’. Realistic ambitions are framed in a new, positive light with the route to achievement broken into bite-size, manageable chunks.
Students are encouraged to visualise each step on the way to their goals and this encourages a can-do attitude. Each goal, no matter how big, becomes a set of manageable, achievable steps.
By using visual goal templates, we create a set of review materials so that teachers can build meaningful relationships with students and jointly chart their progression to success.
Our Goal Setting Workshop teaches a practical and enjoyable method of organising thoughts, identifying ambitions, and setting goals that are high enough to excite and realistic enough to achieve.
As with all our courses, we adapt the Goal Setting workshop and its content to your students’ needs and their stage in their learning journey.
In these sessions, students learn how to identify helpful targets and ambitions in the school environment and beyond. Simple, creative techniques help break goals into manageable, measurable and achievable steps.
