Pupil Premium is funding that is given to schools with the purpose of raising attainment of pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Funding available: £985 – £2410 per pupil. Allocations are made based on pupil circumstances.

The Uni Connect programme works with schools and colleges within their “hubs” to raise student attainment and make them aware of the higher education opportunities available to them.
Funding available: £30 million for the 22/23 academic year, shared between 29 Uni Connect hubs.

Seren is a Welsh initiative designed to help high achieving students reach their full potential and support their journey into the very best higher education institutions.
Funding available: Seren is a Welsh Government funded programme available to state educated students in Years 8-13, regardless of their location, personal situation or financial circumstances.
How Positively You meets the funding requirements: Positively You have developed several workshops that support learning, build confidence and help students make informed decisions about their path into higher education.

Reaching Wider aims to increase the educational aspirations of students up to the age of 16 who live in the most deprived areas of North and Mid Wales.
Funding available: Fully funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales.

The Pupil Development Grant is designed to enable Welsh schools to reduce the impact that poverty has on student attainment and aspirations.
